Our Website is dedicated both to educating individuals who want to learn more about wildlife and to empowering visitors by providing humane solutions to coexistence situations that can arise in an urban environment. We purposely link to HSUS and The Fund for a lot of our information on co-existence, so that our audience knows that our information has been peered reviewed. You will not find wildlife rehabilitation instructions at our site or from our hotline volunteers. Wildlife has specific housing and dietary needs that permitted wildlife rehabilitators need to provide. Keeping wildlife is against the law in the state of Texas and almost all birds are protected by the Federal government as well.
