Where Found A baby raccoon is likely to be found in a den such as a hollow tree, in an attic or chimney, or under a storage building or deck. 
Time of Year Raccoons usually bear their young in the spring, typically March through May; however, can be born in summer if the mother lost her first litter, or as early as January in years with a mild winter.
